Jennifer Lopez, Dua Lipa, and Cara Delevingne bring the sparkle on the red carpet of the 2020 AMAs

And many of the night's attendees, including megastar Jennifer Lopez, pop princess Dua Lipa, and model Cara Delevingne, strutted their stuff on the ceremony's socially-distanced red carpet. 

Lopez, 51, turned heads as she showcased her famously fit physique in a glistening silver get-up.

The On The Floor singer's evening wear consisted of a plunging cowl neck top and a  matching maxi skirt that featured a dramatic slit down one leg.

She added a bit of height to her 5foot5inch frame in a pair of strappy heels that were made to match her award show ensemble.

Taking a note out of Kim Kardashian's book, Lopez decided to rock a 'wet' hair look that perfectly framed her enviably sculpted face, courtesy of her and Kim's shared hairstylist Chris Appleton, who used products from Color Wow to perfect the sexy look - after giving J-Lo a trim. 

'Nothing better than a fresh cut for fall,' Chris explained. 'Adding a wet look finish as a sexy wearable texture that when done right is a beautiful glam look.'

To achieve the style, Chris applied the Color Wow Dream Coat for Curly Hair onto Jennifer's wet locks, and then added the brand's Pop & Lock Frizz-Control and Glossing Serum to ensure a smooth and glossy look. 

Finally, he finished off the 'do with the Color Wow Extra Mist-ical Shine Spray 'for the ultimate wet look shine'.

J-Lo's 'honey brown' hair color meanwhile was the work of Redken Celebrity Colorist Tracey Cunningham, who explained that the shade is ideal for anyone who 'wants to stay consistent with their overall look, but still wants the option to go a little darker or lighter if they please'. 

'I use Redken Chromatics and Redken Shades EQ Gloss for the color recipe and Redken Flash Lift for the highlights,' she revealed - adding that this kind of shade does require regular maintenance in order to keep it looking its best. 

As for the popstar's makeup, beauty pro Mary Phillips was on hand to help Jennifer look her most glam at the star-studded event, using products by Pat McGrath Labs.

Explaining that she was centering the look around a 'sultry graphic liner with a modern 60s twist', Mary revealed she focused on accentuating J-Lo's natural glow by using lipstick on her cheeks: the Pat McGrath Labs Luxetrance Lipstick in Lebeija. 

For the graphic eye, Mary blended the brand's Permagel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in Xtreme Black into Jennifer's crease, and on the upper and lower lash lines 'to add depth', before applying colors from the Mothership V: Bronze Seduction Palette onto the lid. 

'Finish with the Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner on the upper lash line for definition and Dark Star Mascara on lashes,' she added.  

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa, 25, had her signature assets on full display in a quirky white mini dress that was decked out into in multi-toned rhinestones. 

The gems formed various images of starfish on Dua's figure-hugging silhouette and dominated the cups of her bustier top.

The Hallucinate songstress had her raven tresses styled behind her ears and secured with a clip that matched the chain choker around her neck.

To complete the look, Dua slipped her feet into a pair of silver platform heels that allowed her to show off her fresh pedicure.

Cara fearlessly played with bold colors by applying pink and purple shadows around her ice blue eyes and a neon coral lipstick to her pout. 

Ciara, who took to the stage to present The Weeknd with the very first award of the evening, rocked a pair of thigh high black patent leather boots that poked out from beneath her stunning color-blocked gown.
